Gardner Village

So here is a confession. I am not  a HUGE fan of Halloween. While I think it is adorable to see my kids dress up and its priceless to see their faces as they go door to door to get candy, I am not sure I understand exactly what we are celebrating. My parents come from a country where they do not celebrate Halloween. It was totally foreign to them. I can remember running out to get candy only after the first trick or treaters knocked at our door. And now I live in a place where people go all out for Halloween... and I am not talking about the cute decorations that some people do... I am talking about the scary and gross things that people do... I just don't understand. But I do try to give my kids some happy memories when it comes to Halloween. 

 With that being sad I think one of my favorite places to take my kids this time of year is Gardner village. They love to try to find all the different witches.

The boys loved the firefighting witch. Right after we took this picture the hose came on which made it even cuter. 

My kids were really good and they loved going around to look at all the witches. This place is great for photos. Next time I will have to take someone else with me cause I could NOT for the LIFE of me get a picture of all 3 of my kids looking at the camera smiling. Here are a few examples

  I finally had to give up. I will have to go back and take some cute pictures of all 3 of my kids.

I think we might have to go back one more time before they disappear for another year. maybe I can go and get some much better pictures of my kids. wish me luck!
