Going to the Zoo

Last week we were lucky to have some beautiful weather. Not only was the weather great but Brian didn't have to work one night. The boys love having daddy home. So we picked him up from school and headed to the zoo.
The boys all went on a train ride while I fed Brynlee. Then we were ready to see the animals

James really likes to be held and carried... especially by Daddy
Spencer was our map boy... leading us the way to where we wanted to go next

Brynlee enjoyed her view from the stroller. I am pretty sure this is the way to see the zoo... being pushed around in a stroller :)
James was trying really hard to see the animals through this fence. Maybe that is why he likes daddy to hold him, so he can see!

Spencer with the map.. seriously all day

Our attempt at a photo with all the kids. Brynlee got a hold of James' ear and pulled. So this was as good as we were going to get.

I am loving this age with Brynlee. She is so happy (most of the time)

And yes the giraffe was that close

Maybe my boys just don't do any pictures well. We were trying to get them both to stand with their arms out and look at the camera. nope. again... as good as we got.

James couldn't stand still at all. He would just swing his arms... it was really cute.

at least we can get someone to look at the camera.
A great day at the Zoo in the sunshine. now is the time to go... not to hot, not too crowded and the animals are pretty active. The kids ask to go back almost everyday. What made it really great was that Brian was there. We miss him! He is working so hard with school and work. We all really look forward to those days off when he can be home and play!!

We sure loved seeing you and the boys the other day! Thanks so much for having us over.

The zoo is always a good idea. I am glad that you had a lovely day with Brian included. Days with the whole family is doing something together are precious, indeed! :)
