Easter is one of my favorite holidays. I love easter chocolate, I love the easter bunny, and I love that we get to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We had a fantastic easter this year.
We started early with some easter treats :)
We went to the neighborhood easter egg hunt, which was really cold this year.
Spencer was so excited.
James got a few goodies before he decided he was way too cold. I ended up holding him while we watched Spencer. He did pretty good for himself.

We were really lucky this year to have my parents with us Easter. The boys were really excited for the easter bunny to come. We were in no rush Sunday morning as the boys searched and searched for eggs.

The easter bunny seemed to have a lot of eggs this year. I think he thought we were going to have some more kids at our house then we did. The boys were finding eggs even a few days later.
Spencer too. You would think they only thing they got was chocolate.... the boys also got some games a and lego as well as some new movies. They were very excited about it all and everything kept them busy all day while the adults enjoyed watching conference.

We have decided that we like to have family night on Sunday when daddy is home. So after a fabulous lamb dinner made by my Mum we died some easter eggs.
We ended the day talking about why we celebrate Easter. It is really important to me that my children understand the real meaning behind all these holidays. I know they are still young and enjoy things like the easter bunny... but I want them to hear and know my testimony of the Savior, especially these special times of year when we can celebrate HIM!
How wonderful it is to know that Jesus Christ was resurrected. And because of all that HE did, we all can be resurrected too. What a wonderful truth!!
Happy Easter

Agreed! Easter is an awesome time to remember the Savior as well as having some fun being the Easter Bunny.
We missed you being with us! Looks like you guys had fun!
I second Kiki! We missed you but are glad you got to have your parents! Although I thought it would be weird to have easter and conference together, I thought it was the perfect way to celebrate because the spirit was throughout the house with conference! Glad you all had a great day!
