Last night was the opening ceremonies to the Vancouver Olympics. I love the olympics, especially the winter olympics. I was 10 when Calgary hosted, and I remember going to the downhill ski event. I was lucky to be living in Utah when Salt Lake hosted and was even more lucky to go to a few events here. So last night I watched. I came away feeling very excited for the next few weeks. I love watching the events. I love it when an athlete from some small country comes out of no where to surprise everyone. And I love it when the American announcers get it all wrong :) I am Canadian! I am a very proud Canadian.

Laura, I don't mind at all :) Us Canadians living in America have to stick together ha ha. and never forget, the beaver is a proud and nobel animal ;)
Couple things...to be canadian do you have to love beavers? Anda hats? Hmmm. Also, did you notice that as he said I AM CANADIAN his glass of beer was filling up...cmon Leah...is there something else about Canada we gotta know? I'll pray for you
Oh Amanda.... I guess I should clarify, this is actually a beer commercial from many many years ago. that would explain the beer mug at the end. and I guess not all canadians love beavers... but they are noble, at least they are on the back of all nickels. I am hot sure of your confusion with hats... we call them toques.
so no need to pray for me :) Still... very proud to be Canadian. :)
