I Had Feeling

If you were to ask me what I thought we were having I would have said a girl. Something about the way my face had broken out. When the Dr checked the heart beat it was about 149, and they say a fast heartbeat means a girl. Really I had a 50/50 shot of getting it right. This morning was my ultrasound at 8am. I could hardly sleep last night (my favorite joy of being pregnant has to be the insomnia, grr). Brian was staying home with the younger kids and I thought it would be a neat experience for Spencer to see the baby. I don't think he really understood what to expect until he started to see pictures. It was exciting to see his eyes light up as the nurse told him what he was seeing. the legs, the arms, hands and feet. Then we got to listen to the heartbeat. Spencer thought that was pretty cool. The baby was pretty intent to stay in one position. with its back out so we could never get a clear picture of the face. This was even after I emptied my bladder, TWICE! But the baby was not shy.

It's a GIRL!

I wasn't really surprised cause I kind of knew. I would have been surprised if she said boy. We are so excited for another girl. Especially that it means a sister for Brynlee. There is something special about sisters and these two will be just 2 years apart. This is what makes me the most happy. That, and I get to reuse all the ADORABLE baby girl clothes I have  :)

On the way to take Spencer to school he said he thinks the next baby will be a boy. I asked him how he knew we were going to have another one? and his response to me was how do I know that we aren't? humm.

So now we know. I am 21 weeks along and baby girls looks great (except her face, we got no shots of that :(  ). Now we get to look at baby girl names. always the hardest part for me. Any suggestions?

I am so excited for you guys, that's perfect! We were planning on naming our first daughter Annalisa forever, but somewhere along the way we changed our mind. Choosing names is hard!
