Halloween 2011

This long awaited night finally came. From the first time I asked Spencer what he wanted to be for halloween he said a skeleton. I have no idea where that came from but he was so sure that is what he had to be. I lucked out and found a skeleton costume for James in our halloween box. It helped that I only had to buy one costume this year.
My 2 skeletons~ loved having their faces painted.

Cute Brynlee got to be Tinkerbell thanks to a friend for the costume that fit perfectly. I tried to get the boys to be peter pan and hook but again, that whole skeleton thing was stuck.

Outside with our pumpkins. James is in front of the favorite... a pirate.

We met up with our cute friends before heading out trick or treating.

Brynlee still a little unsure of what was going on... don't worry it didn't take her long before she was running house to house.

 See...

Spencer met up with some of his friends and they ran from house to house for hours. Luckily James Met up with his own little friend and they were content to walk from house to house and look at all the decorations. They were really fun to go around with. Seriously these 2 boys are the best of friends and were adorable together. It was also nice to go a slower pace for Brynlee who I ended up carrying for the last half hour.

This is JUST Spencers candy. He got so much it was laughable.

While we were waiting for Spencer to be done for the night Brynlee and her friend Tate raided the candy bucket at the door. the would run over and grab a sucker, open it, get a few licks and then repeat the whole process. It was so cute.

It was a fabulous night. The weather was perfect and we were lucky to meet up with great friends that topped off our night. And now we wait until next year when we get to do it all over again. Maybe if I start early enough I can get all 4 kids to match.  ;)
