Heber Creeper

We love it when Grandma and Paka come to visit. We try to make fun memories every chance we get. This time around I was able to get some really cheap tickets to ride the train in Heber. It is something I have wanted to take the boys to do for a long time but it was always too expensive. I thought that with my parents here it would be the perfect chance.

Here we all are on the train

We were also excited that Daddy could join us

James with G'ma and Paka

The wind felt so good in the hot train car

And then we realized it was MUCH cooler in the open car

And the view was awesome. James loved waving at all the boaters on the lake.

Spencer was in heaven

Paka too. He is the one standing right next to the engine. He stayed there for most of the ride.

On the way back to the station our train was robbed. the guy had a gun and everything. he made us all put our hands in the air while he searched the train for the treasure. Spencer didn't understand why the conductor let the robber on the train and then helped him carry the treasure off the train?!  I wish I had my camera out and was able to capture Spencers face when this guy got on the train. The robber walked up and down the whole train and I think Spencer kept his hands up the entire time. It was priceless.

Thanks to Grandma and Paka for this fun memory. My boys sure love trains and it was neat to share this adventure with them. Can't wait for the next visit and lots more memories.

Ah! How fun! I just bought us tickets to do this off of city deals! There's a cute Halloween one I want to do! Looks like fun!
