I know I have lots to blog about. Many people (including myself) have been wondering what I have been up to all summer. I will get there. just need to upload some pictures. but right now I have been thinking a lot about a future hospital visit. I am trying hard to remember what to pack. For some reason my memory fails me on what has been useful in the past. So I am asking what others have found helpful when they had their babies. Any thoughts??

Wow you are so close!! Packing ideas- Granny underwear, face wash, toothbrush and tooth paste, nursing bra, brush, makeup (if you feel up to it) I know I did bring mine, but I don't think I ever pulled it out. Change of clothes for when you leave, Pillow, outfit for your baby girl :), camera, with batteries. (I know you might be laughing at that, but my friend didn't bring batteries and it died and so they never got any). Laptop in case you are waiting around awhile, plus you can update me with cute pictures!! That is basically off the top of my head.
Good luck...I am so happy for you!! Okay when she is born, I really want to see you, so you'll have to let me know when your up to visits so I can come and see her. Do you have a name picked out yet?
I underestimated my size on the change of clothes I took the first time around, but didn't make the mistake the second time. Phone charger, don't forget that.
Not sure still if we will head north or south, but I will let you know.
I can't wait for the new addition! The only thing I thought of that wasn't already mentioned was a robe - I brought one and loved throwing it over the hospital gown they gave me. And if you're going to have family, we told my mom that she was the designated photographer and it was fun for her to have something to do while being there, yet letting Ryan and I focus on the "having the baby" part. I guess it will probably be different when you've got the other ones to take care of at the same time. But if there is someone who wants to document everything in pictures, it is sure fun to have!
