Every time I bring up my blog the first thing I tend to see is the baby ticker. I can't believe I am already at 30 weeks. Only 10 more to go!! crazy. The hardest thing during this pregnancy was when they changed our insurance right in the middle. I can no longer use my Dr cause he only
delivers at Alta View hospital which I can no longer use. I was very sad to say goodbye to Dr Smith. he has been great for delivering my boys and I love how close he is. As I looked into hospitals I can use and doctors who deliver there I started to think about using a midwife. And why not. I delivered both my boys naturally and without any complications. I still wanted to be in a hospital just in case. I got a name from a friend and went to meet her. I was so excited about finding a midwife that I liked and was excited to use that I
immediately felt at peace. I am really hoping for another easy delivery.
Now my summer is going to get a little crazy. we are having family come stay for the next 2 weeks which should keep us very busy. Then Brian and I are lucky enough to get away for a few days without the boys. We are going to Vegas and I am a little worried about the heat... but it will be so nice to go somewhere without the kids and just have time to sleep in and not worry about the children.
I guess I need to start buying all things pink. I still tend to gravitate to the boys section in stores. I often feel totally overwhelmed by the cuteness of the girl things... how does one decide?! Good thing I am not the only one excited to welcome a little girl into the family.
yes you read that right, we are having a girl. crazy and exciting all at the same time.

Leah that is so exciting!! A girl too. I know what you mean about being overwhelmed when shopping. I still feel that way...but of course I want to buy everything in sight. :) I know I say this all the time, but we really need to get together soon!! After your family leaves, let's plan on it! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
Yay! I was concerned Caroline would only have boys to play with when we visited family! Congrats!
Don't go too crazy buying girl stuff... it's amazing how much girl clothes you get when you have a baby shower after having boys! However, I have to say - it's super fun to buy cute little bows and dresses!
Good luck in Vegas - we were there last summer when I was about 20 weeks. However, it was July and I thing August is hotter? Stay hydrated and close to air conditioning and a bathroom! HA!
When will you be in Vegas? Would that be intruding on your getaway if I met up with you somewhere to say hi, since I live here and all. Facebook or blog me and let me know when you will be in town!
I'm so excited for you! Girls are fun, and it really is so fun to dress them up. Congrats
No worries Leah...I have bought enough for her aleady to get you throught the first six months...and we haven't done a shower yet! Haha! Love ya!
Hurray for a girl! I love this shower idea...I could actually come to this one. :D
I am so excited for you! That is just great. I can't wait until she gets to join your darling family. I delivered with a midwife who was great, although we did it in a hospital still. I'll be checking back frequently for updates!
