6 Random Things you may or may not know about me:
1. I have a pet peeve about people touching my face. Especially when they "pet" my face. I am not an animal and don't like to be touched like I am one. I am also scared of getting zits from other people touching my face. Brian thinks this is funny and likes to "pet" me all the time. drives me crazy!!!
2. I have a nephew who died of a brain tumor when he was 18 months. I was in high school when this happened. it was a life changing experience. I went on to study death and dying as well as near death experiences in college. fascinating stuff. I love talking about this so if ever want to talk about it... just ask ;)
3. My Parents are from New Zealand. Ok so most of you know that (and its obvious when you talk to them) what you may not know is that when they first immigrated to north America they stopped in Utah. My dad had a job, they had a house etc. But because there were some architects who were unemployed in the state my parents couldn't stay. That is how they ended up in Canada.
4. I love decorating cakes and I would love to learn how to do it better. For family birthdays I always look to find something exciting I can make. Silly I know... I need to learn to do it better cause its so fun.
5. I have 13 (soon to be 14) nephews and only 4 Nieces. I was 10 when I first became an aunt and for some reason my family is very good a having boys. Both of my sisters have 3 boys and 1 girl. My oldest brother has 4 boys, next brother has 1 boy and 2 girls and my younger brother has 2 boys with another boy on the way. We all seem to think that its a missionary force that is coming... but really... where are all the girls?!
6. I use to tell people I was adopted. I don't know why... I think I thought it would be cool if I was. Its funny because my entire family all looks identical. I can go out to eat in Calgary and people will stop me as ask if I am related to anyone of my siblings. its very odd... we don't think we look alike but I guess everyone else does. Our kids all look related too. Its those strong Garry genes.

I will have to come up with the 6 things...making me think!! Oh and I totally forgot about the face touching thing. :) Although I didn't know about the cake decorating...that is awesome!
Okay, so more things we have in common. I totally love decorating cakes and hate when Bri strokes under my chin. So funny. I too have read books so we will have to chat.
