Happy Birthday to my sweet husband!
The kids picked out what kind of cake to make. They chose a basketball cake. I was so glad it was something easy. The colors are not as bright as they could be but I used what I had and it worked.
When he got home from school we sang happy birthday to Daddy and enjoyed the fabulous basketball cake.
After cake Brian and I were lucky enough to go on a date to celebrate our birthdays. We found the best free birthday meal available. Free meal at Rodizio Grill. It was delightful. Great food, awesome company and a night without the kids. Couldn't ask for much more then this.
We now have until the end of September for the next birthday in the family. Kind of sad that all of our birthdays fall in only 2 months of the year. Must plan better next time.
