We were so lucky to have the Pillings come visit for a week. The kids stayed at our place and Toni and Brad stayed with friends. The boys were in heaven. They got to play and play and play with Ian and Joe and Clair. We did LOTS of shopping and I finally got to go out for a girls night. Brian was a hero as he offered to watch not just our kids but added 3 more boys to the mix. he was great.
Ian even read to James at night.
We set up the mattress in the living room for the kids to sleep on. Brian and I would stay up late every night playing the Wii with Clair and Joe. We laughed and laughed. It was so much fun. It was also a reminder that I am too old to be going to bed at midnight every night. Esp when I have such early risers.
My boys are now asking when we get to go to Canada. It was great to have them all here and reminded us of why we are so sad they are no longer living right up the street. Can't wait for another visit.
