Home Again

We are finally home and now trying to play catch up with everything we missed over the last 3 and a half weeks. I will admit that the first 2 weeks of my trip are a total blur. After my surgery I don't remember much thanks to the drugs I was on. I was also enjoying a nice liquid and soft foods diet not to mention my puffy face. I felt fine but I guess that was thanks to the drugs which is also the reason I don't remember much.

Spencer had a blast with all his cousins. He is lucky to have so many boys that he can run around and play with. James did great considering we were moving  around and he was always sleeping in a different house.

Some things I do remember... the zoo lights, seeing twilight (again), a sisters recipe exchange, lots of shopping, a great family party, a ton of snow and some very cold temperatures.

When Brian came to get me he brought my sister in law with him which was so fun. we were able to spend time baking and playing games. unfortunately they got to Calgary right before a storm... so they arrived just in time for some snow and -20 degree weather. hopefully the drive wasn't horrible and she will be willing to go back so we can do some fun things.

So we are now home... Brian is working long hours to make up for the days off and Spencer asks every day if it is presents day. He got to open a few in Calgary so he should be fine for one more week. I am loving the snow, white Christmases are so much prettier :) Oh and we got a new camera for Christmas so I can now take some great pictures to post.

You're home! Man that was long! Spencer's nursery teacher asked me if you moved! Glad you had a good trip, there's nothing like being home for Christmas!
